Managing Partners
Broc W. Edwards
Broc W. Edwards is one of Exit Quotient Venture’s Managing Partners and fund leaders. Additionally, he is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer at Pronoia, a private equity focused firm. Prior to his involvement in these entities Mr. Edwards worked several years on Wall Street as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods and Raymond James, where he specialized in M&A and capital markets advisory for diversified industrial and specialty finance companies. Mr. Edwards earned a B.A. in Finance from the Eli Broad College of Business and a minor in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the Burgess Institute at Michigan State University.
In his free time Broc enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family and playing golf.
Reuben Levinsohn
Reuben Levinsohn is also one of Exit Quotient Venture’s Managing Partners and fund leaders. Additionally, he is a Founding Partner of Washington Avenue Advisors, a wealth management office, and Founding Partner of Washington Avenue Ventures a Michigan-based venture studio. Prior to founding these three entities Mr. Levinsohn was an entrepreneur in his own right realizing his first exit at 30 years of age. Since that time he has continued to act as an advisor, mentor and investor to startup companies and founders alike. Mr. Levinsohn attended Michigan State University before pursuing his entrepreneurial ventures he founded as a student.
In his free time Reuben enjoys adventures with his family and flying his plane to exciting destinations.
Venture Partners
Paul Jaques
Paul Jaques joined the Exit Quotient Ventures team as a Venture Partner in 2022. Outside of his duties at EQV, Mr. Jaques is the Managing Director of Venture Creation at Michigan State University. Mr. Jaques is a 5x founder and serial entrepreneur with years of startup experience. Additionally, he is a top mentor, advisor and investor to over 25 startups in the Midwest entrepreneurial ecosystem. Mr. Jaques earned a B.A. in Advertising from Grand Valley State University and Masters in Public Relations from Michigan State University.
In his free time Paul enjoys spending time with his family, the great outdoors and Spartan athletics.
Jillian Lorenz
Jillian Lorenz joined the Exit Quotient Ventures team as a Venture Partner in 2024. Outside of her duties at EQV, Mrs. Lorenz is a Business Coach at Soul of Business Coaching and business mentor to startups across the Midwest. Additionally she is a successfully exited founder of The Barre Code, a boutique fitness studio, that grew to nationwide prominence over the last decade. Mrs. Lorenz earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering as well as an Honorary Doctorate in Business from Michigan State University.
In her free time Jillian enjoys staying active and exercising and spending quality time with her family.
Ted Neely
Ted Neely joined the Exit Quotient Ventures team as a Venture Partner in 2022. Outside of his duties at EQV, Mr. Neely is newly coming off a 30+ year career as an investment professional at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Neely is a limited partner and advisor to over 12 funds. Additionally, he is an entrepreneur and co-founder of his own entity, Integrated Service Partners, an IT service provider. Mr. Neely earned a B.S. in Business Administration & Management from Marquette University and a dual MBA in Finance & Management from Michigan State University.
In his free time Ted enjoys hunting, golfing and spending quality time with family and friends.

Sid Akkala
Sid Akkala joined the Exit Quotient Ventures team as an Investment Analyst. Mr. Akkala is currently a student at Michigan State University studying Finance and Economics. Mr. Akkala assists the team in investment due diligence, administrative platforms and team coordination.
In his free time Sid enjoys intramural soccer, equity investing and enjoying time on campus with friends.
